Boosting education will be a direct counterbalance to Boko Haram's appeal. In particular we must educate more young girls, ensuring they will grow up to be empowered through learning to play their full part as citizens of Nigeria and pull themselves up and out of poverty.
We need to make sure that we're not in a society that is unbalanced and unfair and where the richest Americans are taking advantage of everybody else.
Losing someone you love is tough.
We must improvise, and we must experiment, and we must do things that might go wrong, and everything we bring – the people and the equipment – must serve us in that goal.
